Vieux Presbytère de Batiscan

Built in 1816, this historical house offers a faithful reconstruction of the interior of a mid-19th century home. A guided or self-guided tour, or visit with theatrical presentation, gives visitors an excellent picture of the daily life of the rectory’s former inhabitants, Father Fréchette and housekeeper Adéline. The site also features a different temporary exhibition each year. Complete your visit with a stroll along the nature interpretation trail to appreciate the peaceful beauty of the spot, a real jewel of the Mauricie countryside.
