This small stone house, classified a historic monument in 2004, was built in the summer of 1871 by the architect and entrepreneur Edouard Hamelin, whose services had been retained in December 1870 to construct the church. This is a “Québécoise” home, neo-classic in style, combining elements from French architectural tradition and classic Anglo-Saxon aesthetic concerns. It belonged to the Dupont family from 1897 to 1982 and contains furniture and objects dating to the late 19th century.

Open: Summer: every Wednesday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Open during the Fête de la Solidarité in August and culture days in September from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Reservation advised all other times.

Free admission.
